TrioMani

Somewhere in the world

Chamber music and chansons for voice, violin and piano – from Bach and Schubert to Marlene Dietrich and the Comedian Harmonists.

View repertoire Book a concert

An extraordinary encounter between three artists from different genres – from chanson and theatre to classical music.

TrioMani combines chamber music by Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms (among others) with the passionate chansons of Marlene Dietrich and songs by the Comedian Harmonists.

The warm sound of the violin enters into a dialogue with expressive songs – carried by sensitive piano playing, the result is a richly resonant interplay that touches, surprises and lingers.

The ensemble brings the multifaceted history of German composers and their works to life – in a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of the tradition of music salons and historic coffee houses. The musical experience is accompanied by contemporary anecdotes, poems and stories.
